A family man, and the son of entrepreneurs, Doug grew up in the recruiting business following his father’s footsteps into the world of
talent acquisition. Based in Kansas City with his wife, Doug has 3 adult children, 1 working in the distribution industry, and 2 currently at the University of Arkansas navigating future career paths in Education and Sports Broadcasting.

The Backstory of Prag & Doug
Prag & Doug's orbits intersected in ~1999 as colleagues working closely together at Sprint, in Kansas City. It was the era of launching digital mobile phones + E-commerce/www. At age 32, Prag was named Vice President of the Sprint's .com Internet Business Unit, and Doug was assigned as its multi-faceted HR Business Partner. Prag was the operating executive and Doug as his trusted HR partner worked very closely together in a very dynamic environment of both growth and downturns. It was the high-flying days of Internet and mobile companies with the up & down as the "Internet bubble" burst. Nonetheless, Sprint's new mobile company "Sprint PCS" grew to achieve $10Billion revenue faster than any company in US history!
Having remained friends over the years, one day in 2024 they were commenting on each other's LinkedIn posts which centered on job search, particularly for college students. Prag had launched ArtemArc that year and Doug was working with university faculty on the challenges students have in landing internships/post-grad jobs. Literally the next day they had a Zoom call -- and the concept of ArtemArc's Arc-Collective -- a small cohort, multi-week course -- was sketched out in great detail with much enthusiasm from both -- naturally each been nicknamed "Energizer Bunnies!"
